Forest View Rescue Squad relies on donations from the community for the monies needed to operate throughout the year. The Squad also receive some funding from the City, County, and State.
You can support Forest View financially in several ways. In addition to the “regular” donations that make up the bulk of our funding, many people make donations in memory of a loved one. Many local businesses, large and small, have donated to the Squad over the years. Forest View also participates in the United Way, the Combined Virginia Campaign, and the Combined Federal Campaign, providing an easy way for many employees to make regular deductions from their paychecks. Many companies also provide matching funds to make your donation count even more – ask if yours does.
Forest View also has active Auxiliary and Junior units that assist the main Squad with fund raising and other support.
Approximately 55% of the operating and capital expenses of the Squad comes directly from individuals and businesses in our area.
