Forest View Volunteer Rescue Squad has been named the Outstanding EMS Agency by ODEMSA. This award would not have been possible without the dedicated men and women who serve the squad each day in various capacities. We are looking forward to November when the Outstanding EMS Agency award will be nominated for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

26 Forest View members just got back from a retreat held in Portsmouth, Va. The focus of the event was to understand the behind the scenes workings of people's jobs and responsibilities. The event, headed up by one of our Deputy Chiefs, DJ Johnston was a big success with all of us learning and creating new ideas for the squad. The weekend was packed with all types of activities including a ball game with fireworks. A big thanks to DJ and his committee for time well spent!
